The Lost Bicycle

The Lost Bicycle marks my first attempt at fusing elements of multiple percussion with elements of vocal storytelling. Strong leitmotifs link sounds and characters, resulting in what has been described by listeners as a kind of 21st century Peter and the Wolf. I premiered The Lost Bicycle in May 2005 at Institute Fabrica in Treviso, Italy. Since then, it has been updated, reupdated, and deupdated over the course of more than 100 performances in schools, concert halls, religious institutions, libraries, art museums, and even a shopping mall.
